It's a tough job market out there, but that doesn't mean a rough week, month or even quarter is the end of the road for you. In today's market, there are seemingly an infinite amount of candidates for a limited amount of positions. Competition is high, demand is low and supply is plentiful. Yes, you may not have landed any interviews this week or maybe you didn't get to the second round with your dream company, but this is not a reflection of who you are.
I repeat this is NOT a reflection of who you are.

Keep your head up, walk into those interviews knowing that you are valuable and that you bring plenty of positives to the table. Walk into this weekend knowing you showed up this week and tried your best. The reality is, so much of this is out of your control and the only thing you can control is yourself and how much effort you put in.
I always say "show up", even if it's just for a moment, you have to show up. Showing up, especially when you're discouraged, keeps your flame lit and gets you one step closer to your goals. It may not always seem that way, but trust me on this. I apply this to all aspects of my life, whether it's family, work or extracurriculars. It's been the reason I've formed several good habits over the past couple of years. I promise you, just show up and you will reap the benefits of being present.
