The past year of my life has brought about significant change, some good and some not so good.

- Lived another healthy year, as did my entire family.
- Lost my job due to downsizing/layoffs back in November 2023. The first three months were tough, just coping with what had happened so suddenly.
- Found the absolute best time of my life in the following months getting to spend uninterrupted time just being a dad to my then 4 and 6 year olds.
- Deepened my connection with my wife and partner for the past 17+ years.
- Fortified my close relationships with friends.
- Realized life comes before work. Both are extremely important but work fits into my life now, not the other way around.
- Started a business that is scary, but with the support of my wife and close friends, who for some odd reason truly believe in me, I'm finding the growth I'm seeking everyday.
There has been so much more over the course of the past year, but had it not been for that layoff, I don't know if my reset on life could have happened as swiftly as it did. My next year around the Sun will be even better. I'm grateful for all of the support I've received here as well.
It's hard to see the positives in times of great struggle, but they are there. If you need/want to chat about recent changes you've faced, I'm here for you as a friend or new friend, not as a businessperson.
It's tough, but you don't have to face it alone.
